Sugar Cane Lone Wolf Mechanic Boots, Black Leather
CLEARANCE - discounted $275 off original retail price @ $750.00!!! Sale price applies to in-stock merchandise ONLY!
Lone Wolf boots are directly patterned after long-lost classic styles from the “Good Old Days” in American work wear; that is an era, generally speaking, that hit its zenith in the 1950s and saw its demise by the early 1970s.
The Lone Wolf mark is your guarantee you are buying real work boots meant to withstand the rigors of the most-demanding tasks, but they also just so happen to look as beautifully as they function because they are hand crafted from superior-quality leathers and other components with the utmost of pride by a tiny, family-run shoe business. This shoe company is a true anachronism, taking you back to a time when shoes were made by a cobbler with hammer in hand, a shoe last deftly cradled between his legs and a brace of steel nails poking out from between his lips. And when we say it’s a family-run business, we mean the shoes are actually hand made by several generations of one family that includes men and women and their offspring who have chosen to be old-world shoe artisans, producing superior-quality rugged footwear one pair at a time. Demand is so great for the Lone Wolf boots in Japan v s. the available supply, orders are typically completed 6-10 months from the time they were booked by the stores that sell the boots, and some styles have been known to be sold out for a year or more – NEVER hesitate or delay in making a purchase of Lone Wolf boots! Lone Wolf Mechanic Boots are based on a vintage style dating back to the 1930s that was once produced by legendary footwear manufacturers in the USA that have long since vanished.
The uppers are manufactured from a beefy, full-grain imported steer hide leather that is vegetable tanned for no less than 12 weeks, then beautifully aniline-dyed in classic black, after which the leather is sewn and hand lasted over a period of days to ensure maximum stretch and flexibility to the finished shoe, and finally the lasted uppers are sewn by hand using the famous Goodyear storm welt - NEVER are soles vulcanized to the uppers or sewn in some cheap manner to duplicate the appearance of a true Goodyear welt at a sacrifice to comfort, quality and durability.
The Mechanic also features a high-quality leather outer sole that, in turn, is stitched and nailed to New-Old-Stock GENUINE vintage “Cat’s Paw” rubber sole taps, with GENUINE Vintage “Cat’s Paw” heels glued and nailed in place. Cat’s Paw soles were regarded as the best rubber soles back in the day and Lone Wolf is the only brand today still utilizing a vintage surplus of these soles for footwear production. Vintage details of style and superior quality include the following:
• Lone Wolf label produced on a vintage shuttle loom
• Brass hooks and eyelets
• Polished outer sole and stacked-leather heel
• Triple-stitched quarters for durability
• Two colors of contrasting thread employed for assembly of uppers
• Aniline-dyed cowhide uppers that will wear and age fabulously, yielding an incredible vintage patina • Custom-made shoe laces to precisely match the heavy, corded type originally employed on this style of shoe
• Stacked-leather heel with rubber tap
• Firm, protective toe box
• Gusseted suede-leather tongue
• Full-leather counter pockets
• Hand-lasted uppers
• Hand-sewn genuine Goodyear welt with heavy-duty corded thread
• Heavy, non-corrosive steel shank for extra heavy-duty support
• Genuine New-Old-Stock vintage Cat’s Paw rubber sole taps and heels attached to high-quality leather outer soles and stacked-leather heels • Vegetable-tanned, aniline-dyed, full-grain steer hide uppers
• Leather insoles for better breathing of feet and moisture absorption
Current fittings available as measured on a Brannock device: U. S. A. men’s size 7 1/2. If you plan on wearing a rubber insole or prefer a looser fit, then the available size range will be smaller than indicated here.

Sun Surf Special-Edition Hawaiian Shirt, Duke’s Palm Tree, Brown – Closeout!
Closeout: This style is priced $50.00 off the original retail price!!!
This is a Sun Surf Special-Edition Hawaiian shirt produced under their Duke Kahanamoku label. The design deftly copies an original example produced in 1950 under Duke's own brand.
Special Editions are manufactured to degrees of authenticity that soar beyond the standard editions, fabulous as the standard editions are; each Special Edition is precisely recreated to match the vintage example it copies using yarns and dyes specifically reproduced to match just this one shirt style to utmost precision, and the rayon is screen printed using a filament discharge, just as the original examples of this print once were.
Special Editions incorporate colors and color shades not found on the standard editions, thus providing for more precise color matching to the vintage shirt being copied. Other original features include: two deftly matched invisible pockets, mother-of-pearl buttons that precisely match those found on the original shirt, and a label that precisely copies the original label found on this shirt with the legendary name of Duke Kahanamoku. And to enhance the collectibility of this shirt, it comes in its own presentation/storage box. Once produced, the special edition is retired from production, thus ensuring each is extremely limited in quantity made.
Sun Surf Special Editions are nearly impossible to obtain outside of Japan and we are proud beyond words to have been able to obtain a few of this shirt print that stands out as one of the most unique ever offered.
To help preserve the fabric and colors, dry cleaning is the only laundering method endorsed by the manufacturer.

Sun Surf Vintage-Style Hawaiian Shirt Island Pineapple, Red
Last One Left!!!
Originally produced in Hawaii in the middle 1940's by Royal Hawaiian, it is outfitted with a single "invisible" pocket, genuine coconut-shell buttons that precisely match those found on the original shirt, and a label that typifies the original designs of the era; this particular shirt is perfect for anyone seeking a classic look from the “golden years” of Hawaiian shirts or in need of an all-over print that easily is complemented with so many other color choices in one’s wardrobe.
Vintage Hawaiian shirts were typically made of high-quality rayon acetate, the formula for which was lost in a Dupont factory fire back in the 1950’s. This Sun Surf design is printed on high-quality rayon acetate that perfectly duplicates the hand and weight of the long-lost rayon of the “good old days.” Unquestionably, Sun Surf rayon is the most authentic in the vintage Hawaiian shirt industry today. Just as with the original fabric it copies, this material is extremely breathable and airy, and it takes the original screen printing inks as splendidly as did the vintage originals.
To help preserve the color and fabric, dry cleaning is the only laundering method endorsed by the manufacturer. Please see SIZING TIPS to obtain the correct fit.
